New Home Kit Launched.

Today saw the unveiling of the new Blyth Spartans' home shirt for the 2010-2011 Blue Square Bet North league campaign. As with the last few seasons the kit will be manufactured by Italian Sportswear Giants 'Errea' and is, of course, in the club's world famous Green and White stripes

it looks like they ran out of white material, panicked and used a marker pen to draw a diagonal line and thought yes, that looks good.

Not bad apart from it looks stupid without a number on the back

It's kinda smart. Darlooo has the same layout but in black and White and it looks horrific at best.

Call me old fashioned but I like the stripes to go the full length of the shirt. Perhaps looks better in the flesh but somehow I doubt it.Hope the shorts come with a high waist band aka Simon Cowell. Just waiting for Micks new signings to turnaround the price hike and selection of a daft shirt.

My wifey reckons that someone should have ironed them before the photo shoot. She reckons they have packet lines up the front of them.

It'll be nice when it's finished

A non league strip for a non league club, it looks all wonky and the back looks frankly bizarre. Looks more suited in the seconds bin.

No doubt the cost for getting the much needed number on the back will go to subsidise the failing social club

We had to flog the iron to help prop up the social club I'm afraid.

No, it'll go to the profit and loss account of which ever printing shop some one has found to do it seeing as we don't offer that service. But that's a cracking idea though Wink

We want numbers!!! Oxford sold conference numbers last year, im sure someone could get hold of a few. 4246 has a press so sorting them out on the shirts wouldnt be a problem.

So we're flogging a shirt who's design blatantly needs a number to make it look less ridiculous yet we don't sell the numbers?

Another well thought through idea

So on one hand you suggest (perhaps tongue in cheek, I can't really tell) that we're running some sort of number printing scheme to put money into the social club. And now you're having a go because we aren't, am I reading this right?
