maybe in future it would be an idea to put up a selection of shirts styles from manufacturers for the fans to give input on. |
The Gateshead shirt launched at last years pre season was awful, with a huge emblem on the front that took up all of the chest. We voiced our opinions on the forum, and it was listened too and changed at the start of the season. The resulting shirt was miles better.
Not saying were better, but if you DO voice your opinions the top brass are listening!! (whether your lot do owt is another thing )

I'm not that arsed. Probably prefer the retro one, but no point whinging now.
Me mam will most likely buy me it come xmas and it will just be something I wear on ever increasingly rare trips to the gym or 5-a-side.

I like the front of the Maglia Eyre shirt, but the shield on the back spoils it

As MTS says, this has probably been discussed long and hard, and much as the chosen design leaves me cold , the decision has been taken.
I hope that the real shirts look better than the pictures!

This design comes close to Titley Bay and the FA Vase shirt.

Does it really matter what kind of frigging shirt we wear if the players wearing it either arent good enough or dont give a monkeys about Blyth?
They can run round in bin bags for all I care as long as they put a decent shift in and show a bit of quality with a football.
For what its worth, it does look shite though

Well I quite like it, it's different, and as someone who has to justify a wardrobe full of green and white stripey shirts that's a bonus..
But.. the green swipe around the front is going to be one hell of a gut enhancing design feature for those of us who look more like a darts player than a footballer.
I really would like a long sleeved one, any chance of that?

I think both us and your goats have had one or two players over the years that would have been better off in a bin bag than on the pitch.
At least were pissing on you in that department these days anyway, little victories and arl that.

I think they're out of date now Fred as they've changed the name to Blue Square Bet North. I'll have a check.

it might have looked a bit better if those solid green parts on front & back were white instead.predominently white strip would go better with the black shorts.
