Cheers guys, was impressed with blyth, head and shoulders above us on the day as your back two never had to break sweat, while Brassie is clearly a class act. Sometimes he doesn't look interested then bursts into life and had the beating of our defenders with ease despite him not getting out of second gear.
All in all a good work out for both sides, and all the best for the forthcoming season - just hope we don't draw you in the FA Cup!!!

Spennymoor have a great set up and are a well run friendly club, enjoyed the bar set up in the main stand and was an all round great day. Good on Craig Turns who's banter was great and is an absolute gent and wasnt his save from a Brassie header top drawer! Any chance the EC can put in 7 days notice for the lass that sells the pies?
Great crack with the car full we had and great crack with the usual away day gang.
